Hello and welcome! My name is Mark Talbot and I am a dedicated, qualified teacher with over 14 years’ experience in local elementary schools and private settings in both the U.K. and Nakatsu City. I’m passionate about creating engaging lesson plans that make learning English both fun and effective.

Tailored English Lessons for All Ages
Kindergarten
Our 45-minute classes at local kindergartens use my own resources and expertly developed curriculum. In a fun, supportive environment, young learners will achieve a strong English foundation.
If your kindergarten is interested in a year-long contract, please contact me to discuss arrangements and pricing.
KIDS LESSONS
Our 45-minute lessons for kids blend textbook work, activities, and games to build confidence in using English. Classes are small, with no more than 4 students, but larger groups can be accommodated.
Whether your child is a beginner, looking to advance their skills or revise their school work, our tailored approach ensures they get the most out of every lesson.
ADULT LESSONS
Our 50-minute adult lessons are carefully tailored to different proficiency levels and language goals. We can assist in presentation practice, speech rehearsals, application assistance, and exam preparation.
If you’re transitioning from another English school, we can continue with your current textbook if preferred.
About Mark
From London’s bustling streets to Japan’s serene landscapes, my passion for teaching and love for Japanese culture have shaped my journey. After moving to Nakatsu City in 2003 and marrying here in 2005, I returned to the UK to become a qualified teacher and start a family. In 2018, we made Japan our permanent home. Now, I teach English in Nakatsu, offering lessons to both children and adults. Read more.
