Mark Talbot

Meet Mark: Your Local English Teacher

I’m a qualified teacher from the UK with over 14 years of teaching experience — 6 years in a London elementary school and 9 years here in Nakatsu City.

Living here, I’ve taught at English language schools and spent the last six years working in various elementary schools as part of the Board of Education. I’ve also taught in kindergartens and businesses, so I’ve worked with a wide range of age groups and educational settings.

What makes me different from other educators?

  • Member of the local government team shaping the English curriculum for Nakatsu.
  • Expert in Eiken speaking test preparation at all levels.
  • Flexible learning: at home, café, or workspace.
  • Competitive rates for accessible quality education.

If you’re interested, please submit an enquiry to discuss your learning goals and requirements.

Thanks to Mark. I was able to improve my conversation skills by focussing on the key points of what I wanted to say, and it has been useful in unexpected places.

The Power of Play

At Reach Education, we believe that learning English should be an enjoyable and flexible experience. Our philosophy centres around making lessons fun and engaging, so students are always excited to learn. By making learning enjoyable, our students stay motivated and retain information more effectively.

Flexibility is at the core of Reach Education. Unlike traditional English Language Schools, we offer lessons in various convenient locations around Nakatsu City. This adaptability extends to our lesson content as well. We use a variety of textbooks tailored to each student’s or group’s needs, and offer a mix of lessons that include test preparation for Eiken and TOEIC, as well as revision of junior high and high school textbooks.

Our supportive and nurturing environment empowers students to build confidence in their English skills, ensuring the journey to mastering the language is both rewarding and enjoyable.
